In my regular interviews with users at Noom, the same themes kept coming up over and over:
"I'd log my food, but it's impossible to figure out what I eat when I cook for my family."
"I ate spaghetti, but how do I know your spaghetti and my spaghetti are the same?"
Many of our most successful users lost weight by cooking healthier meals for themselves. It shouldn't be easier to log packaged foods than it is to log homemade goodness.
So I worked with my team to make a colorful calculator for eating food you make yourself.
